Adlington Pets is a family run business which we have been in for almost 20 years, starting off in a small corner shop, moving to newly built premises 15 years ago. Before opening our shop we bred and exhibited budgerigars and had much success both in club and open shows. We have since moved on to breeding and hand rearing parrots so we feel our knowledge of birds is second to none.

We specialise in English bred hand reared parrots many of which are bred or reared by ourselves, and also have our own exclusive breeders. Not only do we specialise in hand reared birds but also small animals, cage and aviary birds and reptiles especially tortoises. All our animals are looked after to a high standard and kept in very clean conditions. Staff are always available to give good advice.

In store we stock over 7,000 lines of reptile, small animal, bird, parrot, cat and dog feeds and accessories, many of these we are hoping to sell via our online shop. We believe our selection is second to none and have built up a good reputation over the past years, people now visit us from all over the north west, and further.

We have many special offers each month both in store and online, saving you £££’s. We stock over 40 varieties of bulk dog food, all major brands plus our own label. If something is required that doesn’t appear on the website please email or telephone the store as we will do our utmost to deliver it to you.

Since we started our business it has grown from strength to strength and feel it is now time to add a new dimension to it. We aim to provide a fast, efficient, reliable service to all our customers, old and new.
